Cold Bend Testing Machine (6~50mm Dia.)

A Cold Bend Testing Machine is used to assess the ductility and flexibility of materials, particularly metals, without subjecting them to high temperatures. It applies controlled force to bend a specimen, typically a metal bar or sheet, at specified angles and rates to determine its ability to deform without fracturing. The purpose of this testing is to evaluate how well a material can withstand bending or deformation without experiencing failure or damage which determines the suitability for applications where it may undergo bending or forming processes during use, such as in construction, manufacturing, or engineering.

The machine comes with a motorized operator hydraulic base for pipe bending application and is composed of transmission parts, racks, tables, and screw adjustment devices, equipped with protective enclosures. Supplied with bar puller and tool kit set.

Cold Bend Testing Machine Can Perform Two Types of Tests

  • Bending the specimen through 180° only with mandrels up to max. 96mm included.
  • Bending the specimen through 90° and then straightening it again up to a minimum of 20° with mandrels over 96mm dia.
